Teaching materials
¡@"Bravo for English" is the title of our teaching materials, the
series of which consists of 6 textbooks, 6 Phonics & Grammar books, 4
readers, 6 sets of CDs, communication books, workbooks, test papers, and flash
cards. Our teaching materials are based on a 3-year project with 6 grades
applying to both preschool and elementary school age students.
¡@Each textbook has 12 theme-based units divided into 4 parts - vocabulary, a dialogue, a story or reading and a song or rhyme preceded by a well-planned syllabus outlining the precise progress and guidelines to the teachers and parents.

¡@The Phonics & Grammar books are used as supplementary books to provide teachers and students with the pronunciation of word blends derived from the vocabulary and practical sentence patterns in the textbooks.

¡@There are three disks for each textbook, one of which contains audio narration of the text, corresponding graphics and instructions. This is to be played on a computer only. The remaining two CDs are audio recordings of the text and can be played on a CD player as well as a computer.

¡@The readers uniquely present paragraphs without any illustration. For estimating how much students understand the contents, teachers let students draw and explain the pictures on their own according to their understanding of the teachers' oral description.

¡@The workbooks are customized into two formats at six levels to adapt to the needs of both preschool and primary school students. They can serve as a resource for homework assignments or as an efficient way to assess students' learning process.

¡@The communication books are well-designed to efficiently fulfill the needs of the students at different levels and ages.
¡@The test papers are periodically utilized after completion of one or a couple of units as an evaluation and overall review.

¡@Flash cards are convenient teaching aids presenting vocabulary and pictures on the both sides. They are often used in teaching vocabulary and playing games.
