About us
¡@Vic Yeh, our founder, with a major in General Administration from the National
Cheng Chi University, opened his very first school named Wen Tzao in Yung-Ho,
Taipei county, the north area of Taiwan on May, 1, 1982.
¡@His guiding belief in
business is leading people:
¡´ to the habit of reading to acquire valuable knowledge for foresight.
¡´ to proficiency in systematizing and integrating diversified knowledge to
increase professionalism.
¡´ to the highest self demanding standards that lead to overall quality through
concessive innovation, and the enhancement of adopted policy, administration,
and education.
¡@In education, he expects kids to grow and learn happily in the pursuit of the virtues of integrity, courage, justice and wisdom.
¡´ Integrity is the power
to acknowledge a fault or a failure.
¡´ Courage is the strength to choose what is good and stick with it as well
as to confront frustration.
¡´ Justice is the will to restrain the unfair and help the weak.
¡´ Wisdom is the ability to not only attain great knowledge but also to be
aware of problems and solve them.
¡@Prior to 1982, the government had controlled Taiwan international tourism.
But it just released control around the time that Wen Tzao was founded. As
a result, English conversation ability became a bigger priority. Vic Yeh was
a man of vision, so he guaranteed that there would be a prosperous future
for private language schools for elementary age students. In the past, the
typical cram schools that prepared students for the entrance exams of schools
were only concerned with the students passing the tests, not with practical
conversation skills. We intend to apply English to daily life so as to develop
these conversation skills in a more useful, practical manner.
¡@After four years of
experience in running a school, Mr. Yeh embarked on the task of promoting
a franchise system, which was the first of its kind, in dedication of bilingual
education for preschool students age 3-6. Up till now, we've had more than
80 branch schools owner-operated throughout Taiwan.
¡@For further research into improvement of the problems of teaching and administration,
he then founded "Wen Tzao Research & Development Center" in
1986. More than 600 professional teachers had worked on writing and compiling
our teaching materials until 1993 when, after so much hard work, we published
the entire series of books entitled "Bravo For English" worth around
50,000,000 NTD.
¡@We have benefited for years from quite practical and ideal policies of management, administration, instruction and employees' duties organized in an operating manual on Wen Tzao school for new recruits.
¡@In 1984, we initiated the usage of C.I. (Corporation Identity), and the registration of the logo and copyright to lay a foundation for a permanent international enterprise.
¡@To prevent and improve sensory integrative dysfunction, which may lead to self-imposition, isolation, general irritability, hyperactivity, and speech or language delays, in 1996 we started presenting the therapeutic equipments of sensory integration as the most important hardware on the playground for each school. It's essential for the kids to organize their central system and to assist them in processing a more organized response to sensory stimuli. This contribution to kids was the first and is highly respected in this field.
¡@At present, we have 3 headquarters located in different areas of Taiwan, one in the north, another in the middle, and one more in the south. Each headquarter has 5 departments of teaching and recruitment, administration, sales, construction, and on-line projects in charge of recruiting and training teachers, promoting and supporting branch schools, extending business, building and redecorating schools, creating web sites and affiliating with other potential enterprises through the internet.

the counterparts. We aim at broadening our vision,

of Wen Tzao.
